Third time today for the light bulb!!! Third time is a charm, right?
For part of Garrett's schoolwork, we are studying Psalm 119 which is a Hebrew acrostic poem, divided into sections - each verse in its section starting with the same letter of the alephbet.. Right now we are on the Aleph section (Ps. 119:1-8).
One thing that stood out to me was in verse 7, the Psalmist says he will Praise the Lord. In the Hebrew the word for praise starts the verse because it begins with the letter Aleph. But was is really interesting to me is that the word for praise means "to throw or cast"
Praise is an ACTION verb!! You can't sit still and be quiet, passively praising God - it involves action!!!!!
